Rhode Island Emergency Food & Shelter Program
The Local Board is requesting applications for Grant Phase 30 (February 1 – December 31, 2012) of the Rhode Island Emergency Food and Shelter Program. RI Emergency Food and Shelter Program (RI-EFSP) funding is contingent upon receipt of a Federal appropriation. Click here for the application.
Program Objective:
This restricted federal grant program is intended to supplement or extend current available food and shelter resources and not for the substitution of other resources for ongoing programs and services.
Applications are due on March 9, 2012.

Attention Current EFSP Grantees: Final report forms and instructions for Grant Phase 29 (January 1, 2011 – January 31, 2012) will be provided by the National Emergency Food and Shelter Board through their web site. We expect this information to be available by mid-February 2012.
The National Emergency Food and Shelter Board has implemented an electronic reporting component to the EFSP. Using assigned LRO numbers and passwords, EFSP grantees can access instructions and further information at www.efsp.unitedway.org. All EFSP grantees are required to maintain an active e-mail account as the National Board will send electronic communications going forward.
