The fifth annual Children’s Book Drive is a collaborative effort between United Way of Rhode Island and Books Are Wings to engage local businesses, community organizations, individuals and families to help foster a love of reading while encouraging children to build their own libraries at home. This year’s book collection will start on May 1 and end on June 10, just in time for summer learning.
Did you know? Two-thirds of America’s children living in poverty have no books at home.
