What is the Young Leaders Circle?

The Young Leaders Circle (YLC) consists of volunteers in their twenties to forties who want to give, advocate, and volunteer in a meaningful way. YLC also provides professional development opportunities and collaborates with other young professional groups.

What do I need to do to join?

Not much—there’s no membership fee. Just sign up and attend an event.

How do I join a committee?

Great question. YLC members are encouraged to speak up and be a part of a subcommittee. We have opportunities available in three areas: professional development, fundraising, and membership engagement. Email youngleaders@uwri.org to get started.

How else can I support YLC?

YLC members have annual fundraising events to help support UWRI. There are also opportunities to advocate for pressing issues at the state level. And we’ll provide you with the tools. Volunteering your thing? We have multiple events. And our professional development events always lead to growth. Check out our Learn with Leaders series.
